From Keszthely, the route follows the well-developed lakeside cycle path around the western basin of Lake Balaton. The scenery includes small hills, reed beds and a chain of lakeside towns. Arriving in Balatonfüred, riders are welcomed by views of the Tihany Peninsula and the town’s historic promenade.
